With over 20 years of experience, Adam’s film art direction credits include seminal projects such as NIGHTWATCH, GOOD WILL HUNTING, ANALYZE THAT and SCHOOL OF ROCK. His television art direction credits include hit shows NURSE JACKIE, WHITE COLLAR, PAM AM, SHOW ME A HERO, VINYL, and THE LOOMING TOWER.

From 2010 to 2014, Adam was the Art Director on BOARDWALK EMPIRE for which he won four consecutive Prime Time Emmy Awards for Outstanding Art Direction for a Single Camera Series. BOARDWALK EMPIRE was also nominated for four and won one Art Directors Guild Award for Excellence in Production Design for an Episode of a One Hour, Single Camera Television Series.

Adam’s production design career began when Director Allen Coulter hired him as the Production Designer on the Pilot episode of CIVIL for TNT where he helped create the unsettling visual context for Scott Smith’s taut, political thriller.

Adam was then hired as the Production Designer on Marvel’s DAREDEVIL S3, where his collaboration with Showrunner Erik Oleson brought to life the dark, gothic vision of Hell’s Kitchen imagined by Stan Lee in his DAREDEVIL - RESURRECTION comic book series.

Showrunners Chris Fedak and Sam Sklaver then hired Adam as the Production Designer on the pilot episode of Fox Television’s PRODIGAL SON to help create the visually heightened world of Malcolm Whitly, the tormented son of notorious serial killer Martin Whitly. This successful collaboration helped propel PRODIGAL SON to Season 1 and 2 renewals–allowing Adam and the creative team to develop the unique, stylistic signature of PRODIGAL SON.

Upcoming work includes Paramount Players follow up adaptation of Stephen King’s PET SEMATARY and Amazon’s DEAD RINGERS series: a re-imagining of David Cronenberg’s cult classic film.
